Southeast Asia leads tourism boom

BANGKOK 2 September 2011 – Preliminary results released by the Pacific Asia Travel Association, Wednesday, showed that international visitor arrivals to Asia/Pacific destinations grew by 6% year-on-year in June 2011. The positive result was led by Southeast Asia, which recorded an estimated 15.5% growth during the month of June. The rebound in arrivals to Thailand
